We designed Writers Work to be both approachable for new writers and helpful for experienced ones. If you are an experienced writer, we have a state-of-the-art document editor as well as a comprehensive list of jobs that is always updating, so you can jump right in and get started. You can also show off your profile in the Writers Marketplace, which will let employers find and contact you, so you save time looking for work.

If you are just starting your writing career, you can definitely find success, but the path you take may look a bit different. Our University Library is full of comprehensive video tutorials designed to teach you how to build a lasting career as a successful writer. We believe that taking our courses will give you all the tools you need to successfully find work through the Jobs section or create unmissable pitches for magazines and journals featured in the Submissions section.

Regardless of your experience level, we recommend all users start by building their portfolio. If you're new to writing for professional purposes, keep in mind that your writing samples can be completely theoretical. You can write a brief article on a subject you're passionate or knowledgeable about, or you can even create mock-up business content for a fake company.

Whether you've been a writer for years or you're just getting started, Writers Work can help you reach your freelancing goals!
